Bayview Season and Hours of Operation
In 2021 the Bayview is open from May 1 through October 18.
The office is open from 3:00 pm through 9:00 pm.
Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 10:00 am.
Village Amenities
The village offers a variety of restaurants and shops where you can purchase basic groceries, souvenirs, alcohol, ice, gas and propane. Fresh lobster can be purchased seasonally, either live or cooked—the office staff will be pleased to direct you. A Laundromat is available in the village.
Pets
Your pets are part of your family and we welcome them at the Bayview. Your pet must be leashed at all times. Kindly clean up after your pet and do not leave him/her alone unless crated. Don’t forget to bring along your pet bed as animals are not permitted on the furniture.
There is a small additional charge for your pet—please refer to the rates and reservation tab where we designate which units are pet friendly. We reserve the right to levy an extra charge if additional housekeeping or maintenance tasks are incurred.
The Bay of Fundy
The tides in the Bay of Fundy are among the highest in the world and are truly awe-inspiring. Checking the daily tide tables before you set out for the beach will allow you to enjoy your day without worry.
Non Smoking Facilities
Please respect our Smoke Free policy. A significant room recovery fee will be levied for guests smoking in the chalets, motel or campers’ lounge.
Visitors
The security and safety of our guests is our first priority. Parking at each chalet is restricted to 2 vehicles belonging to registered guests. Visitors to the chalets must check-in at the office before proceeding to the chalets. Visitors may not take their vehicles up to the chalets.
Camp Fires
The Bayview provides deadfall and selected cut firewood for your use during your stay and requests that you respect our policy of sustainable burning by sharing the campfire experience with other guests and campers. For Chalet guests not wishing to use the main fire pit, ask at the office for a propane campfire ( a small charge applies). Firewood should not be transported for environmental reasons–please do not bring your own firewood.
WiFi, Satellite TV and Cell Phones
Basic WiFi and Roku TV is provided. Please ask at the office when you arrive for the WiFi connection password. We are a remote location so sometimes cell coverage is very much a case of where you are standing. There is a telephone in the office for short calls and a hard connection for the internet if you require it.
CANCELATION POLICY
** Credit cards will not be charged at this time and are only used to hold the reservation. An alternate payment method can be provided upon arrival. Cancellations can be freely done with no administration fee as long as at least 72 hours notice is provided.
** For bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the arrival date we will begin attempting to rebook it immediately. In the unfortunate event we are unable to find a replacement booking for your reservation, an administration fee of 50% of the original booking cost will be charged to your credit card.
** CHALETS have a minimum of 2 night stay from May 31 to Sep 9.
